Hey Curlfriends!
It’s been a long while since you’ve heard from us, hasn’t it?
We haven’t forgotten about you. As most of you know, both of us happened to become parents – amc for the first time and Bee for the second – at the same time! It only made sense that some time off was needed in order for us to recuperate, take care of home and self, and fall in line with all Mommiehood had to offer.
Our intention has always been to return to the scene, but on our own terms and when we were ready. It was nice to watch our Meetup group grow exponentially (we’re sneaking up to 400 members!) and we thank you all for your patience. We’ve heard your requests and let us say that it’s phenomenal to be missed. We surely missed y’all too!
During this time of social discord, simmering race relations, mental health, feminism, the social perception of being a woman and more being stretched over capacity like never before, we feel:
It’s time for us to bring our intimate conversations back.
It’s time for us to resume our heartfelt conversations in the safe space that we built together.
It’s time to meet old friends and some new ones too!
Let’s pick up where we left off, shall we? As per usual, let’s laugh heartily and share unabashedly together. It’s time to make some new memories! Y’all ready?
